Thousands of hopeful and eager Democrats gathered this weekend at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts for the 2018 Democrat State Convention.??
Every city and town in the Commonwealth was present with a representative from each of the communities.
Among them were Gubernatorial Candidates Jay Gonzalves and Bob Massie.
Among them were thousands of supporters young and old who want to see change on Beacon Hill.??
On the national scene,?? US Senators Ed Markey &?? Elizabeth Warren spoke to the delegations on the importance that the Democratic leadership take over both the House and Senate in the mid-term election.??
Locally, in Bristol County Massachusetts, area favorites such as State Senator Paul Fenney spent most of the days shaking hands and answering questions to their constituents.?? ??
Bristol County Commissioner hopeful, Frank Durant also spent much of the afternoon talking to members of area Democrat city and town committees as several voted for endorsements.??
Area voters in certain parts of the State may see up to 10 different races on their ballot, many have primary challengers.
This includes all of Bristol County who will decide on primary races for Governor, Secretary of State and County Commissioner.????
