EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. ??? The Weaver Library Farmers Market draws attention to food access at its fourth market of the season on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 4 -7??pm.

Market goers can learn if they are eligible for SNAP, a federal nutrition program that helps folks stretch their food budget and buy healthy food.

The market will also have information on the local FREE SUMMER LUNCH program for children. Ryan McCauley, coordinator of the library???s own Fuller Creative Learning Center, will explain how it works at Fuller and other locations throughout the city.

The East Bay Community Action Program will be sharing information about WIC and other early childhood education programs.

Each week, the Weaver Library Farmers Market offers fresh, local foods and products in support of the community, small farmers, and small businesses.??

Customers can buy fruits and vegetables, plants, fresh fish, local chicken and eggs, baked goods, granola, locally roasted coffee, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Olga???s breads, hand-dyed yarns, and more.

Live performances this week includes Polynesian Dance for children at 3??pm and bluegrass music with the Ocean State Ramblers starting at 4??pm.??
