Damon Cox, Assistant Secretary of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Executive Office of Housing & Economic Development, and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech),??will speak at the formal opening of the WHOI Center for Marine Robotics??? new Pressure Test Facility.

This new infrastructure was funded through the Commonwealth???s Collaborative R&D Grant program managed by MassTech.

A tour and demonstration will take place of the new pressure test system, a vital tool for research which will allow Massachusetts-based marine robotics firms to test products in an onshore facility which simulates a deep-sea environment.

This event is the kick-off of a two-day event that is part of WHOI???s 4^th Annual Entrepreneur???s Showcase & Leadership Forum. For event details and registration, click here
