Celebrating Student Achievements at Annual Evening of Recognition????
HiSET Graduates Maynor Aguilar, Marisela Martinez, and Kaitlyn Danner at graduation.
On August 9th, The Literacy Center proudly celebrated the graduation of 16 high school equivalency graduates, in addition to welcoming 15 new United States Citizens, and recognizing 100+ ESOL students who continued their education this year.
At the annual ceremony, TLC students were honored by State Representatives Betty Poirier and Jim Hawkins, Mayor Paul Heroux, and Attleboro Public Schools Superintendent David Sawyer.
Scholarships were given to outstanding stude nts Marisela Martinez and Maynor Aguilar for their achievements.
The Literacy Center also recognized Board of Directors’ member and volunteer, Cathy White, with the Donna Morse Service Award for her contributions to the Center.
TLC congratulates all students, and would like to thank to all who attended the celebration.
