Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance Presents the Pawtucket Arts Festival with $15,000 Check

The Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance celebrates??16 consecutive years of support for the Pawtucket Arts Festival

On Wednesday, August 15, representatives from the Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance presented the Pawtucket Arts Festival with a $15,000 sponsorship.

Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien, Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance President, Ron Beaupre, and Pawtucket Arts Festival and Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance leadership gathered to celebrate and recognize this continued partnership.

“The Pawtucket School Department’s teachers and the Rhode Island Philharmonic have enjoyed a years long relationship providing access to classical music to Pawtucket’s citizen and students. This would not be possible without the Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance generous support and commitment to making the arts available to all.” notes John Baxter, Chairman of the Pawtucket Arts Festival Board of Directors.

2018 marks the sixteenth consecutive year that the Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance is sponsoring the Festival.??

The Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance’s sponsorship supports the Pawtucket Arts Festival’s presentation of ‘Pops in the Park’, a performance by the Rhode Island Philharmonic on September 8, 2018 at Slater Park Fall Festival.??’Pops in the Park’ is the premiere event of the Pawtucket Arts Festival, this year gathering an audience of over 10,000 residents and visitors to the Blackstone Valley.
