Friends of the Norton Public Library meet the first Tuesday of each month unless otherwise noted this month is on Tuesday December 4 at 6:30

PM in the Conference Room. Everyone is welcome.

STORY TIME

Norton Public Library Event- Family Story Time

Meet your new Youth Services Librarian in the Community room on Wednesday December 5 at 10:30 AM and help build your child’s early literacy skills with stories, rhymes, and songs. Stick around after story time to meet other families and play in a warm, social environment. Ages 0-5 with caregiver.

JUST KNITTING

Join us on Thursday December 6, 2018 from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM in the Community Room for Knot Just Knitting. Bring a handiwork project and share patterns and tips with other crafters! Whether you knit or crochet, are an expert or a beginner, all participants are welcome. The group is proud to make garments and blankets for charities.

Join us on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Community Room for the Monthly public meeting of the Board of Library Trustees.

MOMS’ CLUB

Join Miss Kate from Balanced Kids Yoga for a fun class that combines yoga, music, and reading on Wednesday December 12 at 11:00 AM in the Community Room. We invite adults and kids to this class to move together. All ages are welcome.  

Hosted by the Norton MOMS Club. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the Norton MOMS Club, this is a great opportunity. Open to all–you do not have to be a member (or even a mom) to come to this event.

 SING PLAY READ

Join Ms. Marsha from Self Help Inc.’s CFCE on Thursday December 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Community Room to sing songs, play with toys, read stories, and complete a simple craft loosely based around a monthly theme. There will be a period of free play in the beginning of the program, which allows parents to chat with each other while their children play. This program is geared toward children ages nine months to three years, and siblings are always welcome.

CHRISTMAS

The library will be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday.

NEW YEAR’S

The library will close at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 31, and reopen at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 2 in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
