All are invited to join The Bristol Art Museum and Linden Place Mansion on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 1 pm – 4 pm for our first ever Holiday Family Free Day! This event will be campus-wide, with activities held at both locations over the course of the afternoon. Santa will be soaring in from the North Pole to join attendees for a Santa Sketch, led by BAM’s beloved “Art Studio for Kids” instructor, Elizabeth O’Connell. Children can also write letters to Santa and pose for a holiday photo with the man himself. After the excitement, settle in for a fun holiday story-time with Mrs. Katz and Her Hats, visiting us from the Roger’s Free Library. Finish your day with a musical performance by the Wheeler School Holiday Handbell Ringers in Linden Place’s beautiful ballroom, complete with cookies and hot cocoa generously provided by Sunset Café and Dunkin’ Donuts in Bristol.

Admission is FREE with a donation to Toys for Tots. Donations will be accepted at either site and allow admission to both locations. For any questions, please call the office of Linden Place Mansion or The Bristol Art Museum.

This event is part of Linden Place Mansion month-long holiday celebration and the historic house, decked for Christmas, and museum store will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Nov 24th through Jan 7th.  Admission during the holiday season is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for students & seniors and free for children under 6.

Friends of Linden Place is a non-profit organization responsible for the restoration and preservation of the historic house museum at 500 Hope Street in Bristol, Rhode Island, and for the promotion of cultural, artistic, and educational programs in the community. The mansion and grounds are open to the public from May to October, during the holiday season, and also by appointment.
