“Seeds of Inspiration” Closes with a Curator’s Talk

Join BAM’s curator, Mary Dondero, to mark the closing of Seeds of Inspiration with an enlightening talk, this Sunday, April 28th at 2:00 pm.

 

This event will be FREE with your regular Museum admission, paid at the door.

 

Seating will be unassigned and begin at 1:30pm on a first come, first served basis.

 

Dondero will lead a discussion in the Museum’s Main Gallery (10 Wardwell Street, Bristol, RI), addressing the varied ideas and complications associated with the common myth and joy of creative inspiration.

 

Highlighted in her talk are key historical references and precedents, sources that artists might consult to find this elusive force, and important developments in technology and materials that have impacted the innovation of inspired cultural production.

 

The Bristol Art Museum is a non-profit organization located at 10 Wardwell Street in downtown Bristol, RI.
