Norton Public Library Event – Zumba® Class

Join us Tuesday July 9TH at 1:00 PM in the Community Room of the Norton Public Library for Zumba Class.

Dance party! Are you interested in a fun workout for everybody and every body? Zumba instructor Kelley Brophy will lead this free Zumba class for teens-seniors.

How Zumba® works: We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

Learn tai chi with instructor Kelley Brophy! Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels.
