RISCA is excited to announce applications are now open for Arts Talk 2020! In 2019 and 2020, the Nation celebrates and embarks on many civic milestones, including the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, the 2020 Census, and of course the 2020 election.
This year, Arts Talk will focus on the theme of “Civic Engagement” and how to effectively integrate that larger theme into any subject matter content area through the arts, in its many forms.
Additionally, we have finally expanded Arts Talk to include an Alumni Co-Hort. These program alums will serve as arts integration coaches to our newest district teams.

Join RISCA and the RI State Department of Health (RIDOH) on September 20th in their celebration of the first state plan for arts and health in the country, featuring the first Artist in Residence at a state department of health.
The event is free, but space is limited and registration is required. The event will feature a new short film about arts and health in RI, as well as performances by DAPpers (Dance for All People), and the Aphasia Clefs.
