THE PSYCH DRAMA COMPANY

The Psych Drama Company Announces At Home at the Zoo

The Psych Drama Company announces our upcoming immersive production of “At Home at the Zoo” at the AS220 Black Box Theater in Providence, RI.

Starring New England actors Wendy Lippe, David Lee Vincent and Brian Dion and directed by Larry Segal, At Home at the Zoo offers a revealing look at Peter and Ann’s boring marriage and their brutal, failed attempts to communicate about it, the tone changes dramatically when Peter goes out to the park and meets Jerry and they share tale after tale, each more lurid than the last. Words are exchanged, a knife is pulled and tragedy results, but to what end?

The Psych Drama Company brings Edward Albee’s classic play demonstrating the essential loneliness of humanity to the immersive stage for eight nights. The Psych Drama Company features noted psychologists and social workers leading post-show discussions after every performance to explore the psychological implications and lessons learned. Exciting, entertaining and thought provoking, At Home at the Zoo will be an evening not soon forgotten.
