Calling all Artists and Flower Designers – Join Art Blooming at Linden Place Mansion!
Linden Place Mansion is planning an “Art Blooming at Linden Place” weekend from May 7-9, 2021. This event will welcome local flower designers and artists to create a piece of original art or floral arrangement to match an exterior or interior location of the mansion.
Expressive forms of design and art inspired by the Linden Place gardens or mansion are encouraged.
Art Blooming at Linden Place will kick-off the opening of the season for the 1810 historic house museum and gardens.
The invitation to artists and designers to pick their inspiration will happen March 3-5, 11 to 3 pm in the Gift Shop at Linden Place, 500 Hope Street, Bristol.
Participant fee for 1 piece is $15 or $20 for 2 pieces. This price includes one free pass for Saturday or Sunday Art Blooming hours.
Drop-off of art and flower arrangements is Thursday, May 6th and Friday, May 7th from 10am -4pm
Art Blooming at Linden Place, a Covid-19 safe event, can be viewed Saturday, May 8th and Sunday, May 9th, 11-4 pm. Timed tickets are $15 Members, $20 Non-members.
An opening reception will take place on Friday, May 7th. Ticket information available soon.

Friends of Linden Place is a non-profit organization responsible for the restoration and preservation of the historic house museum at 500 Hope Street in Bristol, Rhode Island, and for the promotion of cultural, artistic, and educational programs in the community.
The mansion and grounds are open to the public from May to October, during the holiday season, and also by appointment.
