Saturday 6/12 – Lt. Gov & Other Dignitaries Attending Little Compton LGBTQ+ “Coming Out Block Party”
This Saturday, 6/12, The Little Compton LGBTQ+ Coordinating Committee will host its first ever event, a “Coming Out” Block Party, from 1-4pm.
The event will feature educational information, including tables from PFLAG Greater Providence and Newport OUT. Activities include rock painting, button making, and face painting.
Free food and drink has been donated by community members.
At 2:30pm, several individuals will make remarks. Confirmed guests include Lt. Governor Sabina Matos, Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Nellie Gorbea, State Representative Michelle McGaw, and Town Councilor Andrew Moore.
