Registration for Fall 2021 opens this weekend!
Dear TYT friends and families:
September 1st is right around the corner, and heading back to school is no longer a distant thought… it’s next week for most TYT families.
We are so thankful to the actors, staff, families and friends who made our Summer 2021 programs a success. Producing two fully-staged musicals with all the bells and whistles was certainly a feat, and we are proud of not only the process, but the product. “Once On This Island, JR.” and “Les Misérables” were great capstones to end our pandemic-shortened 25th season, and we’re ready for what’s next!
Our friends at MTI (one of the largest licensing houses in the world) and the authors they represent have put together this special musical revue designed for local theatres to produce using songs from some of MTI’s most well-known shows – and it’s the perfect way for us to kick off our 26th season!
We are taking this amazing opportunity to showcase ALL of our actors in one show – something we haven’t done in years! Over the course of September, October and early November participants will learn the music, staging and choreography for the numbers chosen for their age group – and MTI has given us the flexibility to tailor the show to best fit the talents of our cast! The full cast will be in the opening, closing and “11:00” numbers, and each age group will have 3-4 of their own “featured” numbers with plenty of opportunities for featured solos and duets throughout!
