The artMOBILE is rolling again this spring!
SouthCoast Spring Arts is a celebration of the place and presence of the arts in our communities. Local arts and cultural organizations, as well as artists and creative entrepreneurs, present innovative, creative, affordable, and participatory art and cultural events in communities across the South Coast region from Fall River to Wareham. NBAM is joining in on the festivities with our Clay-On-Wheels program!

South Coast Spring Arts Schedule
What is Clay-On-Wheels?
During the month of May 2022, NBAM will be visiting area parks and organizations to provide FREE clay experiences for our community. For the Southcoast Spring Arts Festival, we will be providing outdoor clay experiences on-site at NBAM and on-location at the Co-Creative Center. NBAM Instructor and Owner of New Bedford Pottery Works, Stephanie Sherman will be teaching participants about the basics of wheel throwing through live demonstrations.
We welcome youth and adults to try your hand at using a pottery wheel and take home a free hand building art kit! In partnership with the Co-Creative Center and City of New Bedford Parks, Recreation, and Beaches. This project is funded by a Wicked Cool Places grant, facilitated by New Bedford Creative and the NBEDC, and funded by the City of New Bedford’s Arts, Culture and Tourism Fund, with additional support from Bristol County Savings Bank.
