21st Century Learning Spaces
At RIDE, we firmly believe that every student should learn in a modern, safe, and welcoming space that inspires them to succeed. With the $250 million school construction bond from 2018 we were able to address many school facility needs across RI.
But we know more work is needed – and that is why we advocated for an additional $300 million for statewide school construction included in the FY2023 state budget.
We’re excited to continue our momentum and offer every student a 21st Century learning environment that is conducive to learning.
We recently joined Providence leaders to break ground at Spaziano Elementary School Annex (Spaziano Flyer).
Once it is completely rebuilt, the school will offer brand new shared community spaces such as a gymnasium, auditorium, media center, and cafeteria, and include key educational spaces for Pre-K and K, STEAM, and special educational programs!
