TIVERTON FOUR CORNERS – ANNUAL RETREE FESTIVITIES

CALL to MAKERS for the 9th Annual “re-Tree Outdoor Exhibition 

 

A Festive Showcase of trees created with Recycled Materials” Open to individuals, kids & families, community organizations, businesses and art enthusiasts of all ages.

 

 

Registration for this event begins on October 12th and runs thru November 18th. The Outdoor Exhibit will open on Bright Night December 2nd 2022 and will be displayed until December 16th, 2022.

 

The event will take place outdoors. The re-Tree exhibit will be dispersed throughout the grounds of Tiverton Four Corners Historic Village.

 

Best of Show will be judged and awarded a cash prize of $150.00 on Bright Night. The Popular vote will determine a winning re-Tree on December 16th which will receive a generous prize package of items donated by Four Corners businesses as well as a Kids & Family category winner with a prize provided by our sponsor TBD.

The Four Corners Arts Center is pleased to be hosting it’s Annual “CALL TO MAKERS” for their 9th Annual “re Tree” – A Showcase of Trees Created with Recycled Materials to be held on December 2th – December 16th. 

 

The showcase of re-Trees will be dispersed throughout the grounds of Tiverton Four Corners and will open on Bright Night on December 2rd in Tiverton Four Corners. Best of Show will be judged and awarded a cash prize of $150.00 on Bright Night.

This “Call to Makers” goes out to families, individuals, community, businesses, artists and arts enthusiasts of all ages! All trees will be labeled with a 4×6 plaque stating the name(s) of creator(s) or businesses. 

 

Basic requirements for trees are:

 

must be composed of 90% recycled, reclaimed or repurposed materials

 

must be lit (electrical outlets are available)

 

must be outdoor friendly and secure when standing

 

trees should be no smaller than 5 feet and no taller than 9 feet.

 

must be installed by Bright Night on December 2rd for the initial judging and must be maintained until December 16thto be considered for the popular vote.

 

The majority of the re-Tree must be created by youth if entering in the Kids and Family category
