MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY – DEMOCRATS SERVE

A DAY OF SERVICE

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

This Monday, we will honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a Day of Service.

Dr. King dedicated his life to creating a more just and equitable society. His work ranged from small, community-level actions to the broader fight for systemic-wide changes.

We remember his legacy with a Day of Service to follow his example and take direct action to improve our own communities.

At Democrats Serve, we work to elect Democrats who dedicate their careers to the kind of service Dr. King inspired. Our candidates are public service pros who fight every day for the “beloved community” Dr. King dreamed of.

To celebrate his legacy, we encourage you to find a volunteer opportunity near you and participate in the Day of Service this Monday.

Can’t take Monday off to participate in person?

Democrats Serve is also honoring Dr. King by urging Congress to reintroduce and finally pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to restore some of the protections Dr. King fought for.

Thank you for taking the time to honor Dr. King and fight for the changes he dedicated his life to.
