T4MA

ALL ABOARD THE MONEY TRAIN!

Transportation funding in Massachusetts is complicated. To engage more folks in the conversation, T4MA recently launched The Money Train: A Learning Series on Transportation Funding. We kicked off the series with an op-ed from Andrea Freeman (Public Health Institute of Western MA) and Reggie Ramos (T4MA) in CommonWealth Beacon, highlighting what other states are doing on transportation funding and urging Massachusetts leaders to innovate, and we’ve scheduled events from now through the close of the year.

Our next virtual conversation in the Money Train series on September 5th, Thursday, from 12:00 noon to 1:15 pm ET, where we’ll focus on congestion pricing. We’ll hear from an international panel about how several cities around the world have incorporated congestion pricing into their transportation funding and traffic management solutions, and the benefits they’ve experienced as a result.

Our panelists include Jonas Eliasson, Director of Transport Accessibility for the Swedish Transport Administration, Dr. Sreyus Palliyani, Senior Consultant for Arthur D. Little in Dubai and Singapore and Matthew Woodhouse, Highway/Tolling Project Development and Finance for WSP, an international engineering and professional services firm, in the US.
