The drum and rattle are part of native heritage from tribal cultures all over the world. In this workshop, you’ll be supplied everything you need to create your own frame drum and an accompanying beater, or rattle.
While you’re making your creations Alan and Jamie will teach you the care and feeding of your drum or rattle as well as how to use them in healing and cleansing ceremonies. We will begin the day with a brief sound journey to connect to the heartbeat of the drum and rattle, and then start the process of creating.
The day will conclude with you having created a heart built sacred instrument which you will be able to enjoy and share for many years to come. Registration is Required.
Please bring your own picnic lunch.
