Let???s Laugh Today in Franklin is on??Wednesday, May 3rd??(and every first Wednesday of the month) from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the Meetinghouse of the First Universalist Society in Franklin, 262 Chestnut Street, Franklin. Enjoy this delightful practice, appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness.When we laugh, we energize our bodies and revive our spirits. All that is involved is??deep breathing and a few stretches, playful laughter exercises (no jokes or comedy), clapping and deep relaxation. It has many benefits besides the joy of laughter. It can??strengthen the immune system, combat the negative effects of stress, and is a powerful antidote to depression and anxiety. $5 donation to the church, $10 maximum per family. ??Please bring your water bottle because??laughing can be dehydrating.????Led by Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers, Linda and Bill Hamaker. Let’s Laugh Today is at the Millis Public Library, 961 Main Street, Millis on??Monday, May 22nd??from 7 to 8pm and it is FREE!??Learn simple exercises to help you lighten up about life and bring more laughter into it! Laughing strengthens the immune system,??and helps with stress, depression and anxiety.??There are no fancy postures and is appropriate for all ages and all physical levels. A meditation will be added at??the end for relaxation, leaving you feeling totally stress-free after this unique, uplifting experience.
