Less than Two Weeks to Register for the WOMR’s Eighth Annual Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon

Event to benefit Cape Cod???s only community nonprofit radio station
Wellfleet, MA: On Saturday June 2nd, Cape Cod???s community radio station, WOMR???in conjunction with New England Endurance Events???will hold its eighth annual Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon. Proceeds from the event will benefit Cape Cod???s only community radio station, WOMR/WFMR, with a portion donated to Outer Cape Health Services.
Registration for single triathletes is $100 through June 1st, and $110 day of the race. You can register online at WellfleetSprintTriathlon.org or on the morning of the event at 6:00 am at Long Pond in Wellfleet.
The race will begin at Long Pond starting at 8:00 am. Triathletes can choose to compete either as individuals or in relay teams, racing through a quarter-mile swim in Long Pond, a 10-mile bike loop, and finally a three-mile run. Relay teams can register for $160 through June 1st, and $170 the day of the race.

We also appreciate the hard work of our many volunteers. This event has been tremendously successful in the past and we???re looking forward to a record turnout this year. Partnering with OCHS will help spread the love and contribute to the health and wellness of Outer Cape residents.???
Parking will be available at the Wellfleet Elementary School with overflow parking available at the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Route 6. The Funk Bus will be available this year to ferry triathletes to and from the start line.
