The East Providence Public Library is proud to announce that the Weaver Library Farmers Market will open its 2018 season on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 4 pm.
With many vendors returning from last year, new vendors, and rotating vendors, the market is a healthy, delicious and fun place to explore, discover, and taste new foods!??
Now in its fifth year, the Farmers Market will celebrate the first day of summer on the library lawn from 4 -7pm with fresh food, local products, live music, and a unique, interactive children???s music program, Fiddle N??? Fun, at 4pm.??
Jesse Liam, one of RI???s most popular young musicians, performs at 5pm.

New in 2018 is an exciting market opportunity for SNAP/EBT participants. Thanks to a grant from Farm Fresh RI, SNAP/EBT customers can double their SNAP! For every dollar a customer swipes with EBT at the Farmers Market, the customer will get a FREE dollar in Bonus Bucks for buying fruits and vegetables.

The market has a taste of Portugal and the Azores for Week 2 (June 28) with Azorean Cooking: From My Family Table to Yours cookbook author Maria Lawton and the Portugalo Food Truck!??
