(CO-OP) opens its second branch of Milestones, a day center for adults looking to improve quality of life through individual, person-centered activities and supports. Milestones Cape Cod at 2 Tupper Road in Sandwich welcomes adults living on Massachusetts South Shore and Cape Cod.

According to Katelyn Eagan, Director of Specialized Services at CO-OP, “We are so pleased to follow the 2018 opening of Milestones in Taunton with an opportunity for individuals to visit a center closer to home. Milestones offers social, educational, and personal enrichment activities for mind and body.”

Joyce Faria, CO-OP’s President and CEO added, “CO-OP continues to broaden the scope and reach of its services including those offered through Milestones. We are thrilled at the prospect of providing quality supports to more individuals across the region. Additionally, we are so pleased by our new partnership with the United Way of Greater Plymouth County and grateful for the support provided.”

“Because transporting people to where they can access urgently needed services is so important in southeastern MA, United Way of Greater Plymouth County is thrilled to partner with CO-OP on its new Milestones transportation initiative in our region.”  said Dennis Carman, United Way of Greater Plymouth County President & CEO.   “We must not only get people the help they need during these unprecedented times, we need to get them to where that help is!”
