Linden Place Museum is overjoyed to welcome back internationally known Celtic Folk singer and songwriter Robbie O???Connell, as well as his special guest Rose Clancy for night of music and fun that everyone will enjoy! With Clancy on the fiddle and O???Connell on guitar and vocals, together the two create a delightful musical tapestry. The live performance will be held at the beautifully historic Linden Place Mansion and Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island on March 11, 2016 at 7:30pm.

Best known for his work with the Clancy Brothers, Robbie O???Connell has performed worldwide and has more recently become working on his own solo pieces. He is a songwriter of vision, being able to take everyday though and experience and turn it into a structured folk song. Clancy is a much respected musician on the fiddle, mandolin, and banjo. Her style embraces Northern Irish, Scottish, and some French Canadian influences!

Linden Place, once home to the DeWolf and Colt families, is an architectural gem built in 1810. The mansion, which has been featured in films such as The Great Gatsby with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow, is the perfect setting for a night of authentic Celtic music. Tickets for the concert are $25 for general admissions and $20 for Linden Place members, and free for Colt Circle members. The concert will include a wine reception after the performance to meet O???Connell. Friends of Linden Place is a non-profit organization responsible for the restoration and preservation of the historic house museum at 500 Hope Street in Bristol, Rhode Island, and for the promotion of cultural, artistic, and educational programs in the community. The mansion and grounds are open to the public from May to October, during the holiday season, and also by appointment.??
